Pesticides VS Natural Ways To Kill & Control Silt & Aquatic Seaweed
*New research shows that agricultural chemicals, even when applied correctly, can cause considerable harm to the aquatic ecosystem. A recent study was conducted by the National Academy of Sciences, showing a sizeable reduction of aquatic insects and other invertebrates, directly in correlation to the application of pesticide products.
*Another r research team also investigated areas in Europe and Australia and have since learned that the percentages of contamination from pesticides was up anywhere from 20-40%. Of those areas impacted, dragonflies and mayflies are most affected by the increased contaminates in the water. In lieu of this, many birds and fish are without two of their main food supplies. This study was led by Mikhail Beketov, an aquatic ecologist at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research in Leipzig, Germany.
